Regulatory Body: Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL)
Utah regulates esthetics professions through the Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL). Beginning in 2026, the state's esthetics credential structure includes the Basic Esthetics Permit for entry-level practice, the Master Esthetician license for advanced esthetics practice, and a transitional legacy Esthetics License for individuals who qualify under the statutory transition provisions.
